Learn What I Learned (From My Screw-ups so You Won't Screw Up)
An Explanation

I’ll be the first to admit it: when I go into a game, I usually don’t know what I’m doing. It could be a year later and I’d probably still be confused.

Whenever I start something new, I generally spend a good portion of the first several days exploring—basically clicking on every single menu item and hoping I don’t screw up my account, delete anything, or do something else that I didn’t intend on doing. This especially holds true for non-English games where my knowledge of the language is limited. After trying and failing to figure things out for myself, I hop online and pray that a beautiful soul has posted a guide to help clueless players like me. Sometimes they’re comprehensive and so detailed that I walk away feeling like I could teach others all about the game; other times, not so much. That’s where this shitfest amalgamation of guides (can we really call them that?) comes into play. Hopefully.

This series of posts may be short, long, content-filled, or sparse; it could be helpful to you or be a complete waste of time. The only thing I can guarantee is that whenever I learn something new (read: probably fuck something up and cry for an evening), I’ll add it to the list of things you should (and shouldn’t) dowhich is basically what all the LWIL posts are.

If you have any tips or strategies yourself, feel free to comment and share them! Likewise, if you have any questions or suggestions, don’t hesitate to let me know.

TL;DR
LWIL posts are lists of things I've fucked up in games. Don't do them.
